1. Identity and address of the controller
TAFE Motors México, S. de R.L. de C.V. (“TAFE México”) located at Av. Antea #1088, 3rd Floor, Col. Jurica, Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Mexico, C.P. 76100, is responsible for the processing of personal data collected from its customers and prospective customers (“you” or “data subject”). The processing of your data is based on your consent, on the fulfillment of contractual obligations, and on compliance with legal requirements applicable to TAFE México.
This Privacy Notice is issued in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (“Data Protection Law”), published on March 20, 2025, and its Regulations. TAFE México collects and processes personal data under the principles of lawfulness, consent, information, quality, purpose, loyalty, proportionality, and accountability, ensuring respect for your privacy and your right to data protection.
If third parties such as dealers, distributors, banks, insurers, carriers, or logistics providers collect your personal data directly for their own purposes, such processing will be their exclusive responsibility in accordance with their own privacy notices.
This Privacy Notice applies to clients, prospective clients, and any individual who provides information through TAFE Mexico’s official website in México: https://tafetractors.com/es-mx; https://tafetractors.com/en-mx; https://tafetractors.mx/ and official accounts of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
2. How does TAFE MEXICO collect my personal data?
TAFE Mexico obtains personal data directly from data subjects, whether individuals or representatives of legal entities, when they provide it through the following means:
Sales or purchasing team: through in-person visits, direct contact with manufacturers, or referrals within the industry. Communication is carried out mainly by email or telephone calls, without prejudice to the possibility of physical interactions as well.
Contact initiated by the client or prospect: whether through the official website, email, or other digital services.
Submission of documents in physical or digital format: as part of evaluation, engagement, contracting, or commercial formalization processes, including proposals, quotations, contracts, invoices, and other supporting documents necessary for the legal relationship.
Digital marketing and events: personal data may also be collected through lead generation campaigns and advertising on platforms such as Google, YouTube and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), as well as during agricultural fairs, trade shows, or other promotional and commercial events in which TAFE Mexico participates directly or through authorized representatives.
In some cases, the data subject’s information may be provided by third parties, such as legal representatives, attorneys-in-fact, or persons authorized by the data subject. When this occurs, the third party providing the information will be deemed responsible for the processing of such data and has the legal obligation to ensure that they hold the valid consent of the data subject to disclose it, in accordance with the applicable law.
TAFE México does not use deceptive or fraudulent means to collect personal data. All data is obtained lawfully, in compliance with the principles of consent, purpose, and proportionality established by law.
3. What personal data does TAFE Mexico collect?
Data we collect directly are:
Identification data--- Name; address; email; age; state, country, images or recordings from video surveillance within our facilities.
Electronic / browsing data--- Device IP address: referring website (URL from which you access our page, e.g., search engine, social network, or another link).
TAFE Mexico does not collect sensitive personal data through its website or via communications made by electronic means or social media. Likewise, data subjects are kindly requested to refrain from including in comments or messages any personal data or sensitive personal data that is not listed in this section.
4. Purposes of Processing
Below is a list of the purposes for processing the personal data of the data subject and Applicants by TAFE Mexico, as well as by companies within the TAFE Mexico Group and processors acting on their behalf.
Your personal data will be processed for the following Primary Purposes, which are necessary to fulfill the legal or pre-contractual relationship that binds us:
- To process your request as a client, prospective client, or supplier.
- To manage, maintain, and update the business relationship, including offering and delivery of products or services.
- To implement corporate policies and compliance procedures.
- To ensure the security of our facilities through video surveillance systems and access controls.
- To carry out statistical analyses, market research, and business prospecting related to our products and services.
- To keep administrative and commercial records updated, including those integrated into the system known as “SRM,” used for client and prospect management.
- To handle requests related to the exercise of ARCO rights, or the limitation or revocation of consent.
Additionally, your personal data may be processed for the following Secondary Purposes, which are optional and aimed at enhancing your experience:
- To offer additional products, services, or benefits related to TAFE Mexico.
- To conduct satisfaction surveys, quality assessments, or market studies.
- Sending invitations to events or promotional activities.
- To implement advertising campaigns, marketing activities, or business prospecting.
If you do not wish TAFE Mexico to use your personal data for secondary purposes such as marketing communications, promotional offers, invitations to events, or satisfaction surveys, you may opt out at any time by sending an email to contact@tafetractors.com with the subject line “Opt-out from secondary purposes” and indicating your full name and contact information.
If you do not express your objection within five (5) business days after this Privacy Notice has been made available to you, it will be understood that you consent to the use of your personal data for these secondary purposes, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Your decision will not affect the provision of our products or services. Once we process your request, your data will no longer be used for these purposes unless you provide new consent.
You may also exercise this right by following the procedure set forth in the section “Rights of the Data Subject: ARCO, Limitation and Revocation of Consent” of this Privacy Notice, by completing the corresponding request form and sending it to the same address indicated therein.
5. Transfer of your personal data
TAFE México may transfer your personal data within and outside of Mexico, strictly for the purposes described in this Privacy Notice and in compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
a. Transfer within the TAFE Group
Your personal data may be transferred to Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, as well as to other subsidiaries, affiliates, or departments of the TAFE Group, for purposes related to administration, operation, customer management, and compliance. These transfers are made under the same privacy, security, and confidentiality standards applied in Mexico and are necessary to fulfill contractual, commercial, or legal obligations; therefore, your consent is not required.
b. Transfers required by law
Personal data may also be transferred to competent authorities when legally required to comply with tax, labor, or administrative obligations, including, among others, the Tax Administration Service (SAT), and judicial or regulatory authorities.
c. Remissions to service providers
TAFE México may share or remit personal data to service providers (such as Zoho and other IT, CRM, logistics, auditing, and legal support platforms) that process data on behalf of TAFE México, underwent agreements that ensure confidentiality, integrity, and restricted use of the data solely for the purposes indicated herein.
All transfers and remissions are carried out with the necessary technical and administrative security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, ensuring that it receives the same level of protection regardless of where it is processed.
6. Data retention and quality
TAFE Mexico will retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes mentioned and in accordance with applicable legal or contractual periods. We undertake to keep your data accurate, complete, up-to-date, and relevant, periodically verifying their validity and correctness.
7. Confidentiality and security in processing
TAFE Mexico undertakes to safeguard the confidentiality of your Personal Data and maintain the necessary security measures to protect databases and prevent their loss, alteration, destruction, unauthorized use, access, or processing. TAFE Mexico will establish and maintain administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorized use, access, or processing. These measures shall be no less than those maintained by TAFE Mexico for handling its own information.
8. Rights of the Data Subject: ARCO, Limitation and Revocation of Consent
You may, at any time, exercise your ARCO rights (Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition) regarding your personal data, as well as limit its use or disclosure or revoke the consent you have previously granted, including for secondary purposes.

Your request must include:
• Your full name and a means of contact for the response.
• A copy of a document proving your identity (and, if applicable, your legal representative’s authorization).
• A clear description of the right you wish to exercise, or the limitation/revocation requested; and
• Any additional information that helps us locate your data.
TAFE México will respond to your request within 20 business days of receipt and, if applicable, will make it effective within the following 15 business days. If further information is required, you will be notified within 5 business days to complete it within 10 business days; otherwise, the request will be deemed not submitted. If you believe your right to data protection has been violated, you may file a complaint with the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority in charge of enforcing the Data Protection Law.
We use automated decision-making and profiling, and we provide means to request human review, correct inaccurate data, limit the processing, or contest the decision. You may exercise these options through the same procedures used for ARCO rights and for limitation/revocation of consent, explained in this section.
9. Cookies
Our site may use "cookies" to enhance user experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. On choosing to do so, note that some parts of the site may not function properly. Cookies are used solely for analytical and functionality purposes and do not collect sensitive personal data.
10. Amendments to the Privacy Notice
If changes are made to this Privacy Notice, TAFE Mexico will notify data subjects through a notice published on its official website or via email, when feasible.
If the undersigned does not agree with the terms of the amendments to the Privacy Notice, they must inform TAFE Mexico immediately through the email contact@tafetractors.com.
